Can Volvo Be Saved?

Volvo may not be part of the Ford Motor Company family of motoring brands, but it may not be divested soon. Or will it?

No one is still lying about how Volvo plays a difficult role in automotive design, but will be eager for Ford to
offload the iconic Swedish brand, which has long been a part of the European industrial revolution for seven
decades. Potential buyers of Volvo Cars - home of the luxury car brand of the same name - could inculde a
number of external suitors vying for the most profitable automotive plate, including car makers/marketers such as China's Chery.

Volvo Group, which licenses the trademark to Ford, will remain independent, and so does Volvo Cars. Ford
